Lockdown Mark 2
As a result of the UK Government’s announcement of an England-wide lockdown beginning Thursday 5th November, St. Paul’s will be closing its doors for public worship throughout November. Sadly this means our annual service of Remembrance and subsequent services will now be broadcast online only via our St. Paul’s YouTube channel.
However the church will be open for private prayer on Sundays between 10.30 and 11,30 am. You may come and go as you wish during the hour but you must follow all C-19 hygiene and social distancing procedures. Sadly weddings and baptisms cannot be celebrated at this time.
This is a difficult time for us all. However, the community volunteer system remains active and can assist with needs such as the collection of shopping and medications. The parish pastoral telephone system also continues with that all-important call each week to keep people in touch with each other and to relay any needs or concerns to the pastoral team.
